This week I've got a very valuable video for you to watch, which explains your membership and rollover credits. Please note if you are still on one of the older memberships that renew on the 1st, 11th or 21st of the month, your memberships don't work in the same way as this. If you want to switch to a 28 day membership, just send an email to [email protected] and she will calculate your current membership price split into 13 payments rather than 12.

When do you get rollover credits?
If at the end of your 4 week period you haven't used up all of your membership credits they become rollover credits. These have to be booked in a slightly different way to membership credits (hence the need for this video). 

You cannot preempt rollover credits when booking, you can ONLY use them in the first 14 days of your new membership cycle. So you may need to cancel and rebook any recurring class to use them up. This video should help clarify...

MOBILE PHONES IN CLASS:

I would just like to remind ALL members that no mobile phones should be brought into the studio. This has started to become too commonplace and I have had several occasions over the last few weeks where they have disturbed the class.

We have lockers to keep your belongings safe, which we ask that you please use for ANY items that aren't required in the studio, this goes for any bags etc that do not have your pilates equipment in, as the classes are getting busier the less extra items in the studio taking up space the better. Thank you.

CHAIR PILATES WORKSHOP/CLASSES:

You may have seen our posters about an upcoming Chair Pilates Workshop we have coming up on the 26th September. 

This is obviously not aimed at any of our current members, however you may have relatives, friends or neighbours that would really benefit from this class. It's designed to help anyone that struggles to get to and from the floor and will be primarily mobility focused but will also work on functional strength.

It will be a 45 minute session, starting with the workshop then running as a regular class every week at the same time (3-3:45pm).

This month we are launching the Thursday session, in October we will focus on the Wednesday (same time) and in November we will be introducing a Tuesday session. 

If you know anyone that may wish to know more about these classes, please point them in the direction of https://site.thepilatescorner.co.uk/chair There is currently just 1 space left for the September workshop.

Thank you for all the offers of cake, we have a good selection being made by our members. We just need volunteers to come along and eat the cake now! 

I've set up the event as a workshop on Momence so if you plan on attending at any point please book in so we know roughly how many people to expect - this is not 100% commitment just a show of hands, (we don't expect you to stay for the whole 3 hours, just pop in when you can).

Lastly I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone that filled in my little survey, we didn't actually do anything with the information at the training in the end, however the answers people gave will keep a smile on my face for a long time. I'm so humbled to hear such lovely things both about me and how the studio is perceived.
