Can you Help?

Circuits is back, meet your winners and a workshop that needs more people.

Happy New Year Everyone!

We are already a week in to 2025! I can’t believe it!

I have been very busy wearing my business coach hat this year so far, putting on my first in-person workshop for 13 other studio owners.

We held it on Saturday and it felt really good to be able to pass on knowledge and tips to other people in the industry.

This has taken up a lot of my brain space over the Christmas Break but now I’m back in ‘Studio Mode’ so watch out!

This newsletter is short and sweet but full of goodness, so please gobble it up for your weekly slice of pilates chatter.

What’s inside…

Meet Our 2024 Member Award Winners - Well Done All of You

We have yet to get a photo of our Member of the Year Frank Rogers, or our Best Excuse for being late winner Hazel Nash. So these will feature in next week’s newsletter.

Simon Rice - Consistency King

Karan Bulger - Consistency Queen

Suzanne Doolin - Most Improved Member

Nikki Parrack - Always Early Award

Julie Smith - Studio Spirit Award

It genuinely was really difficult to narrow down our finalists for each category. Next year we may add some more categories too.

But a huge congratulations to all our winners and nominees ⭐️

If you missed last weeks newsletter with the nominees you can catch the reveal video here https://youtu.be/2Loa41nyNIw?si=3flx3RkCdRgDL5Mu

Pilates Circuits Class NEXT MONDAY MORNING

Due to popular demand, my circuits class is making another appearance on Monday, 14th January, this time at 10:45am. (Replacing the usual Pilates class that day).

Subject to member approval, this class may make a more regular appearance at this time slot - (potentially every fortnight).

If you’ve not tried this class type before, its an extremely fun variation on a regular pilates class.

Taught in a circuit format with SIX stations around the room (Two members per station).

There are TWO exercises per station - 1 minute 30 seconds each.

Then 30 seconds to move on to the next station.

We go round the room twice, with a 2 minute break between laps.

I would describe it as a mixed ability session, as all exercises are modifiable, however you do need to be pretty agile getting up and down from the floor as this happens A LOT!

I have left it on the timetable as a zoom class too, however you will need to have a good selection of equipment to be able to do the exercises as set.

Currently there are 6 spaces remaining for next week. Book your spot here https://momence.com/s/99147841

If you can’t attend next week, but would like to put your vote in for this to become a fortnightly appearance on the timetable, please reply to this email with “Circuits Please” in the title.

Menopause Workshop - PLEASE HELP US

This event is taking place this coming Saturday from 1:00-4:00pm at the studio.

We still have LOTS of tickets left for this event, and I’m very sad to say that at the moment we are making a loss of £150 on running this event.

We never aim to make a profit on our events, but making a loss is obviously not our plan either.

Please help us get some more bums on seats for this absolutely brilliant workshop.

We just need to sell 8 more tickets to cover our costs.

If you have any friends, relatives or work colleagues, partners or neighbours that are approaching or of Menopause age PLEASE can you pass on details of this event to them.

The link to pass on is https://momence.com/s/108634493

I will also be posting again on facebook/instagram later today, please share the post so we can reach as many people as possible.

Anyone that attends will get so much from it.

And if you still haven’t got your own ticket, buy it now!!!

Have a great week, and see you next Tuesday for more Member News.
