Apologies for the lateness of today’s newsletter, I was in Birmingham again yesterday, and didn’t get to finish everything that needed to be included in todays letter.

There’s lots of important things to tell you this week, so please take the time to read it to the end.

New Small Equipment Class

As of TONIGHT the 7:15pm Pilates class is now a Small Equipment class.

If you’ve never had a chance to try this class type, it’s similar to a regular mixed ability class, but with a bit more of a challenge.

EVERY exercise incorporates a piece of small equipment - be it a band, weights, the pilates circle, a roller or a ball. Sometimes to assist but in most cases to increase the difficulty of the move.

You can book your place on the Momence App.

If you like the sound of this Small equipment is also held on:
Mondays at 7:15pm
Tuesdays at 9:30am
Wednesdays at 7:15pm*NEW
Fridays at 10:45am and
Saturdays at 10:45am

Events for 2026

Dianne and I have put the events calendar together for the rest of the year. Most dates are set, but with my moving date still unknown there may be a couple of adjustments.

If you are interested in attending any of the events shown, please put them in your diary. There is a form below the calendar where you can tick to show your interest in each event. This will not obligate you to attend but it will ensure you are sent the details as soon as they are available.

February’s Event - Join us for Sunday Lunch

As you can see above our February event will be here before you know it, so if you would like to join us for a ,, please let us know by clicking on the button below and filling in the form.

There will a menu for pre-orders and payment will be in advance to make it nice and easy on the day.

We will also be doing a car share from Baldock and Stevenage if anyone wants/needs a lift to Weston.

Joseph has had babies!

With the care and attention from Gina, our amazing Plant-whispering member, our reception plant, Joseph (as in Pilates) has sprouted not one but two flower buds! How cool is that, considering this time last year he was not doing so good.

Membership Increase from 1st March


This is a decision I’ve been putting off for as long as possible, but from 1st March, we’ll be updating membership prices for those who’ve been with us for over a year.

It’s been over two years since our last price change, and with rising costs, this small increase will help us continue offering the quality and care you know and expect from us.

Most memberships will go up by around 10%.

If your membership started within the last 12 months or if you are on an annual membership, your price will be adjusted at the end of your commitment period.

You’ll receive an email confirming your new membership cost in the next week or so, so please keep an eye out.

All new members joining from February will be on the new membership prices.

To avoid any surprises in future, we’ll be introducing a small annual increase of 5% each March from 2027.
